Aarhus Business College will help increase AI skills for 1 million Danes.
Aarhus Business College joins forces to boost AI skills
Aarhus Business College has teamed up with some of Denmark’s largest organizations and workplaces to spread knowledge about AI through the AI Competence Pact. As an educational institution, Aarhus Business College can contribute and take co-responsibility for developing skills, with a special focus on the education sector.
The goal of the pact is that half of all Danes will use AI tools in their work. The initiative puts people at the center of the digital transformation. AI skills must be strengthened across the labor market and in the education system. This will happen through collaborative projects across companies and organizations, and by supporting the projects launched by the partners themselves.
AI is already part of everyday life for staff, students, and course participants
One of Aarhus Business College’s key strategic focus areas is digital development – and naturally, AI is a big part of that. The college has set guidelines for students’ use of AI, which are continuously updated in line with digital progress. In addition, together with other educational institutions, Aarhus Business College carried out a project in the 2023–24 school year on how to integrate AI into education.
“It’s in our DNA to give tomorrow’s workforce the skills employers are looking for. In the coming years, AI skills will be crucial for many public and private employers,” says acting director of Aarhus Business College, Hans Henning Nielsen.
